Join us to review the fundamental principles of the Code of Ethics, focusing on CAANZ standards, fundamental principles, and practical examples to enhance your understanding and compliance.
Ethics are one of the cornerstones of our profession. Their existence and our accountability under them help increase trust in the profession. This webinar is part 1 of a 2 part series that provides an opportunity to review professional ethics applicable to accountants. This webinar will focus on the ethical standards of CAANZ and will start with an introduction to ethics; a review of what ethics are; an overview of the Code of Ethics and the fundamental ethical principles.
The webinar will provide 1 hour of the of training required by CAANZ/NZICA every 3 years.
Specifically, it will cover:
- Ethics in General
- The 5 fundamental principles
- For members in practice
- Who are members in a business
Throughout the webinar there will be a number of examples used to illustrate the points being made.
This webinar will not cover anything to do with ethics for assurance and audit engagements.
